Our Approach

Transparency in the management of conflicts of interest is essential to maintaining the integrity and trustworthiness of clinical guidelines. We recognise that conflicts of interest are common among experts in any clinical field, and our approach focuses on transparency and appropriate management rather than exclusion.

All panel members are required to declare their interests prior to participating in guideline development. These declarations are assessed using a standardised matrix, and appropriate management strategies are implemented for any identified conflicts. Declarations are updated regularly and made publicly available to ensure ongoing transparency.
